We provide multi- sports camps during school holidays and birthday parties for children aged 4- 11 of all ability levels in Harpenden.
Great Sports are dedicated to providing first class coaching and care for 4- 11 (4 rising 5) year old children of all ability levels in a fun, safe and positive environment.Our key principals are founded on the basis of: Great Coaching, Great Activities, Great Organisation, Great Fun and Great Sportsmanship.
Key members include established teachers at Wood End Primary School. They have a wealth of primary school experience and know how to deliver fun and enjoyable sports sessions in a professional, secure and rewarding setting.
Key staff include Adam Willard, he's a specialised sports instructor teaching a range of PE lessons and extra curricular clubs throughout both key stages. In addition, Adam is a level 3 football coach and holds qualifications in a range of sports including rugby and athletics. Billy Byford teaches in Stevenage and holds the same credentials as Adam Willard.
Clare Smart is a qualified primary school teacher and Key Stage 1 Leader at Wood End school with over 20 years experience teaching across all 3 key stages. Nigel Smart is a Martial Arts instructor with 30 years experience currently teaching in various schools throughout Hertfordshire.
Great Sports coaches also include Daniel Rees, Jack Hatcher, Jamie Millard and Sarah Hammond who also hold a range of teaching and coaching qualifications aided by assistants Livvy Best, Alex Tearle, Adam Moore and Lydia Edwards.
Tilly Rasumussen (https://www.facebook.com/tillysdancefactory.com) teaches Street Dance & Cheer Leading sessions at each camp and we also feature guest Face painters every week.
All staff have enhanced DBS searches, are first aid trained and safeguarding certified.
